In her blog Kirsty McCahill, (MSYP) discuses the alarming results of “Our Generations Epidemic” which reports the results of a consultation with young people across Scotland’s 32 local authorities in relation to mental health. The results highlight that 74% of young people don’t know what information, support, and services are available in their local area. This seems extremely worrying given that from our experience we know there is a strong link with good mental health and positive family relationships.
