Things parents do that trigger conflict in teenagers…
This list, I might add is not an exhaustive list, I am sure your own teenagers could add many more
• Telling you to do something when you are just about to do it!
• When they don’t shut the (room) door!
• Turning lights on and off!
• Correcting you for doing something then they proceed to do it anyway!
• Mimicking teens!
• Constantly asking about the future!
• Complaining “you’re always on that phone”!
