The SCCR are about to launch their ‘Kindness for Christmas’ campaign. Each day in the run up to Christmas there will be ‘Top Tips’ with suggestions of what we could do to be kind at Christmas. With all of us looking forward to more time with friends and family around Christmas and a much better 2021, there may never have been a better time to be kind to ourselves and to those around us.
I would encourage you to be bold with your kindness. Spoil yourselves and be welcoming of others wanting to spoil us. Reach out to those who may have become more distant this year and be bold with family, friends and neighbours, particularly if we have not found the time to keep in touch. Hopefully your kindness will be greeted with kindness in return but don’t be disheartened if this doesn’t happen just as we had hoped. Persevere and I’m sure that the kindness that you show will be rewarded.
