What other practices do people have in their lives which they notice are beneficial for their relationships?

I find the simple act of stopping yourself from reacting to a comment or action that puts you immediately on the defensive. Taking a second, and telling yourself ‘think about it’ then either responding emphatically or even compassionately helps significantly. Arguably, once practiced can minimize the stress and anxiety in a relationship, well in my relationships anyway, and I feel better for it. :slight_smile:
